It is hopeless to dream that Turkey will return to the F-35 program. It's over.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from retired Turkish General Bayazid Garadash.

"There is no clause in the F-35 agreement that says 'If you buy the S-400, you will be removed from the F-35 program.' I took you out," Garadash said.

The director of the Turkish Defense Industry Administration, Ismail Demir, said that no country could be unilaterally excluded from the F-35 program. According to him, the latest letter from the United States also shows that Ankara is right and talks should be held on this.
