The United States has given Lilit Makunts an order to become Armenia's ambassador to this country.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by the "Graparak" newspaper. According to the report, the agreement was obtained a week ago. Makunts will leave for Washington immediately after the dissolution of parliament.

It should be noted that Makunts is the leader of the parliamentary faction of the ruling My Step Bloc in Armenia. He has no diplomatic experience and has never worked as a diplomat. It was this factor that caused great protests after the news of his appointment as ambassador to Armenia.
