Registration of presidential candidates started in Iran

Registration of candidates for the presidential election in Iran begins today.

Axar.az reports that the registration of candidates will last 4 days. It was noted that the Council of Guardians of the Constitution of Iran will announce its release on May 26-27.

It should be noted that the age limit for Iranian presidential candidates was announced some time ago. The minimum age for participation in the elections is 40, and the maximum is 75.

Iran's presidential election will be held on June 18.
