Does Ankara start talks with Assad?

There is no question of negotiations with the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Ibrahim Kalin, a spokesman for the Turkish Presidential Administration, commenting on Ankara's claims that it will start talks with Syria after Egypt.

"These are separate issues. There can be no talk of talks with Assad. However, it is possible that there will be talks between the intelligence circles at different times," Kalin said.
