Israel has rejected Russia's offer of a ceasefire with Palestine.

Axar.az informs this was reported in the Yediot Aharonot newspaper.

The report says that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told cabinet members at a Security Council meeting last night that Moscow rejected the ceasefire proposal.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershin said that Moscow was ready to accelerate the peace process between Israel and Palestine.
