A strong earthquake hit Japan

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has shaken Japan's Fukushima prefecture.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

The quake, which struck at a depth of 40 kilometres, was felt in the surrounding areas, including the capital Tokyo.

No damage or casualties were reported.
