UN statement on Gaza: More than 200 houses destroyed

We are concerned about the ongoing conflict in Palestine and Israel.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Jens Laerke, spokesman for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

"The number of injured on both sides is growing. The civilian population suffers the most from this conflict. Attacks on the Gaza Strip, home to about 2 million civilians, have dealt a severe blow to clean water supplies and COVID-19 control measures. In addition, more than 200 houses in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged."
