Turkey calls emergency meeting of OIC

An emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held on May 16.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

According to the report, after consultations with Palestinian and Saudi officials leading the OIC, it was decided to hold an emergency meeting of the organization in a video conference on May 16 within the framework of the Foreign Ministers.

"The meeting will discuss possible steps to be taken at the OIC and international level in connection with Israel's attack on the Palestinian territories," the statement said.
