Reagan's adviser asked Putin for citizenship

Suzanne Massie a former adviser to former US President Ronald Reagan, has asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to grant her citizenship.

Axar.az reports that Massie said that it was an honour for her to have Russian citizenship. She said she had worked for many years to bring the two peoples closer, so she wanted to continue her work in Russia.

Massie was an adviser to Reagan from 1984 to 1988.
