Iran identifies over 14,000 new coronavirus patients

A sum of 14,319 new patients infected with COVID-19 has been identified in the country based on confirmed diagnosis criteria during the past 24 hours.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that Iran’s Health Ministry Public Relations Center said on Monday.

2,094 patients have been hospitalized during the same time span.

It further said that the total number of COVID-19 patients has increased to 2,765,485.

“Unfortunately, 286 patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of the dead to 77,222," the ministry noted.
