We will never recognize the annexation of Crimea - NATO

NATO will always support its partners in Georgia and Ukraine to withstand great pressure from Russia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from NATO Deputy Secretary-General Mircea Geoana.

"Our position is clear: we will never recognize the annexation of Crimea. Russia has maintained a strong military presence both on the territory of Ukraine and on its borders. We do not accept the policy of assassination and the use of force against a sovereign state," Geoana said.
