Nearly 14000 new coronavirus patients identified in Iran

A sum of 13,930 new patients infected with COVID-19 have been identified in the country based on confirmed diagnosis criteria during the past 24 hours.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that Iran’s Health Ministry Public Relations Center said on Tuesday, and added, "2,102 patients have been hospitalized during the same time span.”

It further said that the total number of COVID-19 patients has increased to 2,779,415.

“Unfortunately, 310 patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of the dead to 77,532," the ministry noted.
