Iranian generals in Yerevan: "trade" with 160 prisoners

Approximately 160 Armenian servicemen are kept in Iran.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by "Graparak" newspaper citing its sources. According to the report, the recent visit of high-ranking Iranian servicemen to Armenia was connected with the return of Armenian troops to the country:

"We were told that Armenian soldiers crossed the Iranian border during the difficult days of the war (meaning a 44-day war - ed.) And have remained there ever since. We were also told that Iran had set some preconditions for the return of Armenian soldiers to the Armenian side."

"Iran is trying to take advantage of the captives."
