Work of government agencies in Iran has been paralyzed

On May 29, at least 33 government buildings in the Iranian capital, Tehran, were left without electricity.

Axar.az reports that this is not the first case in Iran. Thus, a similar situation is often repeated in major cities of the country - Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, Kermanshah, Qazvin, Shiraz and Hamadan. As a result, state exams for school and university students are constantly postponed, important industrial facilities are shut down, and public transport is paralyzed.

The reason for such a deplorable situation is the reduction of water resources and the underdevelopment of hydropower plants.
