Hundreds of sanctions against Iran will remain in power

Some sanctions will be lifted if Iran is returned to the nuclear deal, but hundreds of sanctions will remain in power.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

"We do not know whether Iran is willing to do what is necessary to return to the agreement. That is, we will see if it happens," Blinken said.

It should be noted that progress has been made in the nuclear talks between the 5 + 1 countries. The United States has reportedly agreed to lift some sanctions on Iran.
