MiG-29 crashed in Bulgaria, training stopped

A MiG-29 fighter jet of the Bulgarian Armed Forces crashed on the shores of Cape Shabla in the Black Sea.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Bulgarian Defense Ministry.

It was reported that at 00:45 local time, a fighter jet carrying out a training flight was cut off. No information was provided about the pilot's condition.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Stefan Yanev and Defense Minister Georgy Panayotov visited the crash site.

The crashed plane was taking part in the International Shabla-2021 military exercise.

It should be noted that the training were suspended due to the plane crash.
