Putin: Russia will not give satellite systems to Iran

The information that Russia has given a satellite system to Iran is false.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with NBC television.

"I do not know anything about it. Those who talk about it probably know more. This is nonsense," he said.

Earlier, US media reported that Russia would supply Iran with Canopus-B satellite systems, which would allow Tehran to monitor potential targets in the Middle East.
