The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran continues to work on uranium enrichment.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Ali Rabii, a spokesman for the Iranian government.

He said that so far the amount of uranium enriched by 60 per cent has reached about 6.5 kilograms, and the amount of uranium enriched by 20 per cent has reached 108 kilograms.

"Uranium enrichment is being carried out faster than planned by the Iranian parliament."

Rabii also said that despite US sanctions, they have made progress in many areas.
