Afghanistan took back another district from the Taliban

In Afghanistan, government forces have regained control of the Dovlatabad district of Faryab province.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Faryab Police Department spokesman Karim Yurish.

He said a large number of Taliban members had been killed in the operation.

The Taliban did not comment on the incident.

A few days ago, several districts, including Dovlatabad, came under Taliban control.
