Iran recorded 1300 new COVID-19 cases

The number of coronavirus patients who have been admitted to the hospital across Iran over the past 24 hours surpassed 1,300.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that the Health Ministry’s spokeswoman said Wednesday.

Sima Sadat Lari announced at a press conference that the total number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 infection in Iran has exceeded 3.06 million following the detection of 10,487 new cases since yesterday.

She further put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 82,480, saying the disease has taken the lives of 129 patients over the past 24 hours.
