After a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, US President Joe Biden responded to a question from CNN's Caitlin Collins in a very harsh way.

Axar.az reports that leaving the meeting, the journalist asked Biden, "Why are you sure that Vladimir Putin's position will change?"

The head of the White House answered the question nervously:

"I am not sure he will change his position. Where, damn it ... What are you doing during this time? Where did I say I'm sure? I said that if the world reacts to their (Russia - ed.) Steps, it will change their behavior and lower their status. I'm not sure about anything. I'm just stating the fact. "

Biden later apologized to the reporter.

"I have to apologize to the person who asked the last question. I shouldn't have looked "smart" when answering. "
