UN report on Myanmar: 1 M people are in need of help

So far, 160,400 civilians have fled their homes during clashes in Myanmar's southeastern provinces.

Axar.az reports this is stated in the UN report.

The report notes that the conflict in Myanmar since the military coup has had a negative impact on the country's economy. That's why about 1 million people need help.

Although a total of $ 276 million in humanitarian aid is planned to be delivered to 944,000 people in Myanmar as part of an UN-sponsored aid campaign for those in need, $ 40 million has been raised so far.
