Clashes in Berlin: 60 police officers severely injured

In Germany, 60 police officers were seriously injured in clashes with left-wing radicals.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from DPA, citing representatives of local authorities.

The cause of the unrest is the German government's plan to demolish a high-rise apartment building where various leftist groups live. It is noted that for several years, officials have been trying to relocate leftist unions, but have faced resistance from radicals.

Residents set up barricades on the street with burning tires and barbed wire to keep city officials out of the house. Police officers who came to the scene threw stones and bottles.
