Russia supported Baku's position

The events on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border are due to the lack of international legal registration.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing in Moscow.

Zakharova said that Russia continues to make active mediation efforts to stabilize the situation.

"Baku and Yerevan have close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the border services. We see a sustainable and long-term solution to the problem in the early start of work on the delimitation of borders between the two countries, in the demarcation process. We confirm our readiness to render the most active assistance to this process," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added.
