The events of March 1, 2008 will not be repeated after the parliamentary elections in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"It simply came to our notice then. There are several reasons. First, the 2008 presidential election was rigged. Now the results can not be affected. The position of citizens will be reflected in the voting, "he said.

He also said he would win the election with 60% of the vote.
