Russia has resumed air communication with Turkey

Russia resumes air communication with Turkey on June 22.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova.

According to Golikova, the decision was made on the basis of the final opinions of the inspection team visiting Turkey.

Russia suspended regular and charter flights with Turkey from April 15 to June 1 due to a sharp increase in coronavirus infections. The ban was later extended until June 21.
