We welcome this decision of Russia - Erdogan

We welcome Russia's decision to resume flights to Turkey.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Our country is gradually leaving the restrictive list of other countries. We welcome Russia's decision in this direction after France," Erdogan said.

Yesterday, the Russian government decided to resume air communication with Turkey on June 22.
