White House is preparing new sanctions against Russia

The Biden administration has begun preparing new sanctions against Russia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from White House spokesman Jake Sullivan.

He said sanctions would be imposed on blogger Alexei Navalny:

"We are preparing another package of sanctions due to this incident."

According to him, the United States will activate sanctions when it sets the right target:

"This will be followed by further sanctions on chemical weapons."
