Russian FM's attitude to the elections in Armenia

We hope that the early parliamentary elections in Armenia will contribute to the development of the republic and the further strengthening of relations with Moscow.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

"We hope that the results of the election process will contribute to the progressive development of Armenia, further strengthening of Russian-Armenian relations, as well as ensuring peace, security and stability in the entire Transcaucasian region," Zakharova said.

He expressed confidence that the election results will contribute to the full implementation of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
