Rockefellers create a fund for green energy

The IKEA Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation plan to set up a $ 1 billion fund to support renewable energy programs in developing countries.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by Reuters. Each fund will provide half a billion dollars for the total fund.

In addition, they hope to attract an additional $ 10 billion this year from international development agencies and institutional investors.

The fund will work especially for India, Nigeria and Ethiopia.
