Best friend of the US is this country - Blinken

Germany is the best friend of the United States.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

"The United States has no better partner or friend in the world than Germany," Blinken said.

Blinken said he was looking forward to President Joe Biden's meeting with Merkel in Washington.
