Lightning kills 49 in India

Lightning struck the northern Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, killing 49 people.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Times of India.

Thirty people were reported killed in Uttar Pradesh and 19 in Rajasthan.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Twitter that financial assistance would be provided to the relatives of the victims and the injured.
