Beyer: The EU needs the US because of these threats

Europe, including China and Russia, needs the United States to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Peter Beyer, Representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers for Transatlantic Cooperation in Washington.

"Only by working in a credible Transatlantic Alliance can we overcome the complex challenges of the 21st century, such as China, Russia, digitalization, climate change and the pandemic. In short, Europe needs North America, but North America also needs Europe," Beyer said.
