Erdogan: If the US supports, we will agree to it

Turkey is ready to take over the management of Kabul airport only if the United States provides the necessary support.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"A new era is beginning in Afghanistan and the region. The United States has now decided to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan and wants Kabul airport to continue operating. We have a positive approach to this, and, of course, we have several conditions in this regard in diplomatic and logistical matters. If we are given the necessary support, we can consider taking over the management of Kabul airport," he said.
