Open support for Sandu from the United States

Foreign partners will increase aid to Moldova following the victory of President Maya Sandu's Action and Solidarity Party.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Ambassador to Chisinau Derek Hogan.

"International assistance will increase to support the goals and priorities of the new government. If the government is determined to solve serious problems, it will increase support from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and, of course, the United States and the European Union. Because we now have a unique opportunity and we do not want to miss it," he said.
