We couldn't stop North Stream 2 - the US

US sanctions did not prevent the construction of North Stream-2.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US State Department spokesman Ned Price.

Price said, however, that the State Department intends to return to the issue in August and submit another report on the situation with North Stream-2 to Congress:

"As you know, the North Stream-2 report was submitted to Congress in May. Another report will be submitted in August."
