The Taliban have almost complete control of the border with Tajikistan. Many international terrorist organizations, including ISIS and Al Qaeda, are strengthening their positions. The northern regions of Afghanistan are rapidly becoming new hotspots.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko.

Rudenko said that the process of admitting new members to these organizations from Central Asia is actively underway. Recent developments and risks in Afghanistan are related to the hasty withdrawal of the United States from the country.
