If Yerevan appeals to us for military defence... - France

France is ready to consider all applications of the Armenian government in the field of defence.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacotte in an interview with Radio Liberty.

"As for the defence partnership between Armenia and France, we will, of course, be ready to consider all applications submitted by the Armenian government. Of course, we need to take into account some realities. France and Armenia are not members of the same military alliance," he said.
