Another charge was against Atambayev

Former Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev has been charged with organizing riots in Bishkek on October 9, 2020.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Atambayev's lawyer Zamir Jooshev. He said the indictment alleges that Atambayev wanted to seize power by joining forces with former Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov and adviser Farid Niyazov.

It should be noted that there were mass riots in Kyrgyzstan after the parliamentary elections in October last year.
