The US is sending hundreds of troops to Georgia

The United States is preparing to send a couple of hundred troops to Georgia to participate in the Agile Spirit 2021 exercise.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Georgian Defense Ministry. The United States also brought Black Hovek helicopters to Georgia from Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

The Agile Spirit training will start on July 26 in Georgia and will last until August 6. 2,500 servicemen from 15 countries will take part in the training.

Azerbaijani servicemen will also take part in the training.
