Lavrov: Bartholomew is ruled by the US

The Patriarchate of Constantinople is administered by the United States.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. According to him, the activities of this patriarchate have nothing to do with the ideals of Orthodoxy:

"We know very well how the Ukrainian Orthodox Church came into being. This is not only the initiative of the Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew. It was directly dictated by the United States."
