Moldova has recalled its ambassador to Russia

Moldovan Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Golovatyuk has been recalled to Chisinau for consultations.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Moldovan Foreign Ministry. He was recalled indefinitely.

Earlier, Moldovan media reported that the ambassador's name was involved in a sexual scandal. He is also a member of the pro-Russian Socialist Party.
