We won`t participate in military operations in Afghanistan

If the Turkish army remains in Afghanistan, it will not take part in a military mission and will use force only in self-defence.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Defense Ministry spokesman Pinar Kara.

According to him, the Turkish military has been in Afghanistan for 20 years.

He said the Turkish army had been guarding Kabul airport for the past six years.
