Ukrainian general: We must prepare for war like Azerbaijan

Ukraine must prepare for a scenario of resolving the conflict in the Donbas by force.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Army Igor Romanenko.

"Currently, the fighting in the Donbas is low-intensity, but I want to show an example of the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict. They also negotiated in the Minsk Group for 30 years. The conflict was not intense there, but last year it escalated into a local war. Ukraine must also prepare for this," he said.
