Call from Athens to Ankara: Assistance offer..

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoghlu and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias had a telephone conversation.

The statement came from a source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

"Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias called Mr Cavushoghlu today and wished him success in preventing forest fires in various parts of Turkey and said that Greece was ready to show half," the source said.
