UN: We will not leave Afghanistan

UN envoys will continue their work in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of US troops.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from UN spokesman Eri Kaneko.

"The UN does not intend to leave Afghanistan. Our mission remains there. The UN is taking steps to ensure the safety of the mission's staff," he said.
