Note from Russia to Ukraine

Russia has issued a note to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The statement called on Kiev to fulfill its international obligations - national legislation on the protection and preservation of war monuments:

"We strongly condemn the course of the Ukrainian authorities to demolish the monuments of Soviet soldiers and erase the memory of the soldiers' heroism in the fight against fascism."
