The Turkish Foreign Ministry demanded that the incident be reported, that the killer or killers be found and punished, and that measures be taken to prevent a recurrence.

The incident took place yesterday at 19:20 local time. Mahmad Durgun, 43, was shot dead by plainclothes Greeks in the village of Adasarhanli on the border with Greece in the Merich district of Edirne province.
