Turkey gave a note to Greece

Turkey has issued a note to the other side regarding the killing of a Greek citizen in Edirne as a result of Greek fire.

Axar.az reports that the Chargé d'Affaires of the Greek Embassy in Ankara was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry and a note was presented to him. The Turkish Foreign Ministry demanded that the incident be reported, that the killer or killers be found and punished, and that measures be taken to prevent a recurrence.

The incident took place yesterday at 19:20 local time. Mahmad Durgun, 43, was shot dead by plainclothes Greeks in the village of Adasarhanli on the border with Greece in the Merich district of Edirne province.
