The UN did not support the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan

The United Nations Security Council has said it does not support the return of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the United Nations Security Council has condemned all acts of terrorism and deliberate attacks on civilians in Afghanistan, saying it is deeply concerned about the escalation of violence and human rights abuses in Afghanistan.

Pointing out that deliberate attacks on civilians, UN staff and UN facilities could constitute "war crimes," the council called on the Afghan government and the Taliban for a political solution and a ceasefire with the Afghan leadership.
