Turkey is not a waiting room for anyone - Altun

We are very concerned that some Afghans working for the State Department in US-funded projects and organizations are seeking asylum in the United States in third countries.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Fakhraddin Altun, head of the Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration, in an interview with Bloomberg.

"Turkey is not and will not be a waiting room for anyone. We will do our best to protect our border security," Altun said.
